What time is check in / check out?
Check in is strictly from 3.30pm and Farmer Chris or George will be on site to welcome you and guide you to your chosen accommodation , this way we can ensure everything is perfect. Should you plan to arrive later in the day then please give us a call so that we can plan for this.
Should you be early then we highly recommend a visit to The Rowdey Cow Ice Cream cafe or The Raven Inn
Check out is by 10am on your day of departure.
Do you accept pets?
We accept well behaved pets at Mill Farm, they must be kept under control at all times on site and not allowed to roam unattended. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure all animal waste (poo) is picked up and disposed of in a bin. We charge £40 per pet.
Is there parking?
We have designated car parking areas at Mill Farm and Belle Vue Farm Shire.
Are the accommodations child friendly?
We are delighted to welcome families and children of all ages to all our accommodations as it is such a magical spot and a special place for families to explore. We would just advise that parents take care to watch their children carefully when on the deck and stairs up to the treehouse, as well as in the wider area, taking particular care when close to the stream.
Why haven’t i received a confirmation email?
We send out email confirmations to all guests –if you don’t get one, give us a call as soon as you can.
What shall i do if something isn’t as i expected?
We want to ensure you have the very best experience during your stay with us so if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to let us know- we are always on hand to do what we can to help.
Can i have guests to visit during my stay?
We can allow up to 2 extra guests to visit during your stay, this must be booked in advance before arrival and we require their full names and contact details prior to arrival plus a car registration number.
Are logs provided?
Yes we will provide everything you need to light a fire and a generous amount of logs to use during your stay if you are staying in a Luxury Canvas Lodge or Squirrel lodge.
Is there wi-fi?
There is Wi-Fi available at The Treehouse & Shire Houses & Mill Farm House. We encourage our guests to switch off from technology and enjoy a back to nature experience. The luxury canvas lodges and Squirrel lodge have access to wifi too but the signal at the lodges is variable.
We also have a strong 4g signal on site too.
