Luxury Two-Floor Canvas Lodge
Squirrel lodge is the first luxury two-floor canvas lodge in the UK. Much like our luxury canvas lodges, Squirrel Lodge is stylishly designed, offering a warm and welcoming luxury glamping break on a whole new level.
Downstairs
As the UK’s first luxury two-floor canvas lodge, Squirrel Lodge is beautifully styled and packed with useful features. This luxury glamping accommodation boasts a four poster bed in the master bedroom, a kitchen area with a large fridge, and a four-ring gas hob for cooking. It also features a new style bunk barn with funky wagon wheel window – a must have for the kids! A powerful hot running shower and toilet area also comes as standard.
Stylish & Hearty Stove
Unfortunately, you never know what type of weather you’re going to get on a UK glamping break! With that in mind, Squirrel Lodge is also equipped with an elegant wood burning stove which can generate up to 8kw of heat. Therefore, you are guaranteed to stay warm and cosy all year round! The stove is located between two sofas, acting as the central hub to catch up with friends and family.
Upstairs
Head upstairs in our luxury two-floor canvas lodge and discover a small landing area sandwiched in between two bedrooms, separated by two beautifully crafted wooden partition walls.
Discover two stunning bedrooms featuring rustic comfy beds with electric heated blankets, allowing you to stay toasty and warm whatever the weather. Both bedrooms can be made into either a double or two twins, offering extra flexibility for larger families and groups.
What’s Included in Your Luxury Glamping Break?
Wood
Cosy toes are a guaranteed bonus for the duration of your stay, as all wood for your stove is included! On arrival, your luxury canvas lodge will be supplied with a stock of wood to burn. If these supplies run low, we have an undercover wood pile nearby so you can collect fresh supplies.
Outdoor cooking is also an option – simply ask Chris or George for a Mill Farm camp fire basket. There’s a small hire charge for the basket, but this includes your wood.
Fridge
Squirrel Lodge also comes equipped with a standard size fridge, perfect for keeping your food and drink chilled and fresh.
Bed Linen
Crisp, clean, white cotton sheets, snuggly duvets and plump pillows are provided in every bedroom, creating a soft welcoming retreat at the end of your relaxing day on the farm. Therefore, there’s no need to bring your own bed linen to enjoy sweet dreams in supreme comfort under canvas!
Organic Eggs
Our chicken coup is located in the Bottom Water Meadow, just a short stroll from your canvas lodge. Guests are welcome to interact with the chickens and also help themselves to eggs for breakfast. However, please be polite as some of the chickens are shy! Eggs are in plentiful supply, as we have them stocked in the honesty shop as well.
Farm Paddock
Bottom Water Meadow is home to our chickens, ducks and goats. You’re welcome to enjoy the animals throughout the day and also join in with feeding times. Farmer Chris or George will be available throughout your stay, so why not book onto one of our farm tours?
Wi-Fi
For those who like to stay connected on holiday, Mill Farm’s luxury canvas lodges offer free Wi-Fi for guest use.
